I have the pleasure of working with Becci Mapes on quite a number of shoots. Becci came to me with the idea of creating a character from one of her favourite short stories The Boy With The Cuckoo-Clock Heart. This is the story by Mathias Malzieu. The tale of a boy with a heart magically preserved by clockwork, who must never fall in love, or else his heart will break.
Becci made a prosthetic cuckoo-clock heart and Rory Finn took on the leading role.
